How we celebrate students while protecting their privacy
Why we film:
FSCL may capture photos and short video clips during tournaments to celebrate our students and share event highlights on our website, newsletters, and social media. We never sell or use content for commercial advertising purposes.

What we share (and what we don’t):

We may post images of players in action.

We do not publish full names or personal contact details with images unless we have separate written permission (e.g., for a featured story).

We focus on group or activity shots, rather than close-ups of individual children, whenever possible.
Your consent:
By registering for this tournament, you acknowledge and consent to FSCL capturing and sharing images as described above.
Consent is voluntary—you can opt out at any time.

How to opt out:

During registration, select “Do Not Consent” in the Photo/Video Consent question, or
-
Email us at info@fsclchess.org with your player’s full name and school.
We will make reasonable efforts to avoid/blur your child in future publications and to remove any newly posted content upon request.

Data & safeguarding:
We store consent records securely, limit access to authorized personnel, and use images solely to highlight student participation and achievements that support FSCL’s mission.
