About the event
We invite chess players, coaches, and families to join us for this USCF-Rated tournament.
Students must bring their own chessboards and clocks.
- Expect a fun-filled day playing 5SS G/25 5/d
- This tournament is only open to scholastic sections K-1, K-3, K-5, K-8, and K-12.
- ​Trophies for the Top 5 Team Winners, Top 5 Individual Winners, and medals for all participants.
Same Day, On-Site Registration - $30 ​​8:00 am to 8:45 am
***On-site registration will receive an automatic 1/2 point bye for round 1. This will be strictly enforced and is for the benefit of all players.***
​Parents & Coaches:
Parents or coaches should supervise Chess Players; please make arrangements. A delicious hot lunch​ is available for sale, provided by the incredible Hialeah Gardens High School PTSA. Please make lunch arrangements or provide lunch funds for your chess player.
